Who they are
The members of the AMA are experts with valuable experience and skills gained during professional activities and employment with local and international organizations. These experts were trained and obtained their credentials in the USA, Europe and Russia. The AMA members have gained professional experience from such organizations as Sodeteg, Food Provision Project, Eurasia, State Department ECA, UNDP, CYSCA, World Learning, IESC, and CEMA etc. They have conducted 4 projects in 2002-2003 within the framework of the AMA activities dedicated to Armenian export development. This resulted in issuing “Armenia Export Catalog” and organizing a conference on “SME in Armenia and USA”. Later the second improved edition of “Armenia Export Catalog” was issued. We also made a presentation of the AMA and its expected projects during the IREX conference in Georgia. During the conference we presented the regional projects between Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. We expect them to be held in 2004.
At present Armenian Marketing Association have more than 30 members, which are specialists and managers of different companies.
Who is eligible?
- Managers and specialists of marketing departments (at enterprises, consulting companies etc.)
- Students interested in marketing and students studying at higher educational institutions where relevant subjects are taught
- Specialists working both in Armenia and abroad
- There is no limitation for admittance, no dependence upon nationality and citizenship
- Representatives of state structures
- Specialists of international organizations.
How to become
You should bring your CV or send it via the Internet to be admitted. Within the next 7 working days we will report you whether you are eligible for joining the AMA. If you are, you will have to make regular membership payment of $30 semi-annually. There are also alternative options to the membership payment. The members (particularly if they are students) can provide in-kind contributions to the Association (translations, web design, computer maintenance, surveys, etc.) as a substitution for payments.

We conduct regular group discussions with our members on the most actual topics regarding marketing. The members are obliged to participate in those group discussions to share their ideas as well as use others’ to improve their knowledge. Using various ideas and information, marketing experts try to find more effective marketing methods in different fields of production. Our members have already conducted about 15 marketing researches and we are planning to increase this number to 25 next year. All the results with recommendations are presented at our market database and are available to all our members. The members also receive full support from the Association in conducting their researches as well as in other undertakings. Being the partner of “MPG” Ltd , which is considered to be the exclusive distributor of the professional Russian marketing magazines (Marketolog, Russian Food and Drinks Market, PR, etc.) in Armenia , we are able to provide our members with the mentioned magazines and modern marketing literature as well.
The companies where the members of our association are employed have an opportunity to make use of the AMA services at cut rates (20%).
